When my Lupus was really active I got horrible fevers. They were out of control. Sometimes they stayed a few hours to a few minutes. Sometimes I didn’t know what a fever was and what a fever wasn’t.
I was so sick during those times. I had to ice down my entire body because it was just such a hard and painful thing to do with =/
I didn’t like icing myself down. It felt comfortable at first, but it was also a little awkward, lying in bed, covered with ice!

Fever is a symptom of Lupus. And that was one that was common for me when the disease was active. I think a lot of my Lupies can relate to this.
Boy, does Lupus suck…
